I had a problem with the drain pump on my Kenmore HE3 and I replaced it using a drain pump I ordered from APP. That fixed that problem but once I started running the washer I started getting a FH error code. I looked it up and found that it was a problem with the washer not filling properly. Popped the back control panel and checked where the power comes in. Had power. On the other side of that component there was no power. Found the problem. The hardest part was finding where they hid the model number. Up and under the back of the lid. Nice hiding place. Read more

Disassembled washer, found that 2 out of the 3 basket support legs had cracked through. Unfortunately, support cannot be bought except as an assembly, so had to spend almost $300 for the part. Bearings were worn, but not trashed, so I replaced them and the seal. Note, most parts places (including AppliancePartsPros.com) will only sell the bearings and seal as part of the rear tub assembly. Replaced the water inlet valve assembly. I was surprised how easy it was to do. A putty knife to release the panel and a screw driver to release 2 clips. Ordered the parts on Tuesday, received them the next day and the washer was back in business. The wife is happy, and when she's happy, eveybody's happy! Glad I found your site!! Read more
