This replacement power cord supplies electricity to the appliance so it can run safely and reliably. It replaces a worn, frayed or damaged cord to restore steady power and reduce risk of electrical problems. What it does:

If your microwave overheats or the vent fan runs constantly, this fixed thermostat may need replacement. Controls heating and safety shutoff.
White plastic handle that attaches to the microwave door exterior. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing. Installs with screws behind inner door trim.
Replaced it. The instructions did not come with the Handle and a picture I had of the parts did not tell me. I used a putty knife to removed the ring around the door and once that was off could see where the rest of the door was held in with snaps. Using the putty knife again I moved the rest of the door, to expose the handle. Unscrew the screws holding the handle placed the new one on and re-screwed it. Turntable not rotating or making rumbling noise? This drive motor restores smooth rotation. DIY-friendly repair—remove 5-6 screws from bottom panel.
Opened up hinged bottom of microwave and saw that the old motor had come loose from its secure position. I decided to replace the old motor with the new one and secured it into place, which was very simple--just a matter of unplugging the old motor's connection; plugging in the new one; securing the motor in place with one screw; closing up the hinged bottom; putting in the new coupler; and checking to see if it works.
