Description

This thermistor is a refrigerator temperature sensor that monitors internal air temperature so the control board can regulate cooling. Replaces a failed sensor to help restore accurate temperature readings and more consistent cooling. What it does:

• Senses internal refrigerator temperature and sends a variable resistance signal to the control board
• Helps the control system cycle the compressor and fans correctly for stable temperatures
• Commonly replaced when refrigerator runs too cold, too warm, or has irregular cooling cycles
• Can address temperature-error codes or defrost control issues when the sensor is faulty
