The Door Latch Hook is an OEM replacement part for LG microwaves. Located internally on the door frame, this metal hook secures firmly into the microwave's door latch bracket when closed. As a common wear point, the hook can experience minor warping over many years of use.
Causes of a bad door latch hook include normal wear and tear, loss of tension, or deformation from frequent door opening and closing cycles long-term.

Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. I found the model number and did a search on Google. I found your website and became a member, quickly typed in my model number and within a few minutes had the parts ordered.
