I discovered that the rear portion of the control housing, the condensate collector which diverts the water through the back panel into the drain line, had broken. To remove the housing there is one screw centered towards the front which must be removed, then a screw at each end of the control face which only need to be loosened. Pull the entire assembly forward and down, then disconnect the electrical connector. It will be a puzzle figuring out the order of transferring the control... Read more
