Took the top off the washer and found one of the hinge springs corroded (10 years old) and no longer functioning. Using the Appliance Parts Pros website determined the necessary part numbers and ordered the parts for express delivery Wednesday evening from them. Parts arrived Friday morning (36 hours later).
