My wife found soapy water on the floor of the laundry room. I removed the front access cover on the washer and found water in the bottom of the washer and seeping our the drain holes. Running a rinse and spin cycle showed water leaking out of the pump all the time there was water in the tub. I ordered this pump and after watching a youtube video of someone else doing it had no trouble installing it. Problem fixed. You do need a torx head screw driver T20 or T25 to remove the pump from the motor. Read more
Unplugged line cord. Removed two phillips screws close to bottom in front and lifted at 30º angle to release top clips on front panel, rotated it aside so as to not disturb door switch wires. Turned drum by hand. Located rattle emanating from blower housing. Removed lint screen and holder with phillips and 1/4" nutdriver. Removed blower housing cover with 1/4" and 5/16" nut driver.
