I figured out that the problem was the latch. I entered my model and serial #s. Replaced the door assembly Before taking the door off the washer I painted the hinges with a little finger nail polish to enable the hinges to be replaced correctly. Used petroleum jelly on the outside of the vent grommet (18) so it could easily be slipped on to the door liner.
