I had to do this by myself and I knew the drum assembly is very heavy. I had watched a video online where they used a strap to hold up the drum. However, my drum had nothing to hook to. This sensor is connected to the washer's tub and monitors water levels by detecting air pressure changes in the pressure tube. Replace if the washer overfills, underfills, or displays water level error codes.
I verified that there were no drain line obstructions. Checked the ohms across the pump motor. Ran the washer through the diagnostics test. Determined that the main control board must be the problem. Washer would run until the spin cycle. It would pump down and continue pumping even though there was no water. Would not advance to spin. It would time out and flash the nd code.
