The Oven Door Gasket is an OEM part for GE ranges. This gasket is responsible for creating an air-tight seal between the door and the oven housing. It allows heat to be properly contained within the oven cavity during the cooking process.
Causes of a bad gasket can include warping, cracking, or breakdown of the gasket material over repeated heating and cooling cycles. Exposure to excessive heat or impact damage is also possible.

I looked up the schematics on Google, and where to order GE parts from, ordered the part took 2 days to arrive, took 20 minutes total to take out old element and put in new element.
