I removed main control board cover and move Fridge a foot or so from wall. Problem reduced but still there. I suspected a heat sensitivity problem with main control board. I replaced the main control board and it resolved the issue. Read more

When we inspected the first time we found that Plactic had broken from the spiral part that for wards the ice. Also there were cracks in two places of other parts. There was a hole in the bottom of the bin. The new spiral was assembled and two new parts were replaced with help from the video and the diagram and the unit worked well. This square beauty ring was snapped in place with about 12 small retaining studs that were part of the beauty ring. By using my fingernails I could pull out the ring a bit all the way around. After working my way around the ring 2-3 times it came loose in my hand without breaking.
