After review on appliance parts which indicated this part was defective on over 80% of icing over conditions. I purchased the thermistor/temperature sensor for less than $10. And I received the part quicker than anticipated, a nice surprise. So far so good, the unit has not frozen up. I was not able to get electrical prints to check the heater element.
