There is apparently a weakness in the design of the stemware gripper, since both grippers in the dishwasher exhibited the same fault in the same places. I replaced the pump drain assembly. The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. I replaced the Spray arm and the filter, checked under the appliance for a leaking seal and found it dry. took the cover off of the drain and cleaned it out. I also ran the dishwasher with about a cup of bleach in it to sanitize it. Read more
