The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Membrane switch keypad mounts behind the control panel. Replace if buttons are unresponsive, cracked, worn, or the overlay is peeling or damaged.
Literally took no more than 15 minutes. I unscrewed the back panel of the door, unplugged the old keypad and pealed off the old keypad. I used rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the surface where the new keypad would go. Then I slid the new keypad into place and plugged it in. Peal off the adhesive backing and stick the new keypad down, reattach the door panel and you are good to go. Read more

Ordered a new flood switch and activation stem from Aplliance Parts Pros.com. Order was delivered in about 3 days. Installed new switch and stem in about 15 min. Removed front kicker panel with two screws, the switch was just inside the panel secured with two screws. remove the electrical connector, removed screws, replace the two new parts..put the screws back in place and ran the washer...no overflows. The 4 screws that hold the vent cover in place also hold the assembly inside the door that has the heater motor and other items. The four screws go through the assembly inside the door, through the door and into 4 plastic legs on the vent cover. Two of the legs on the vent cover were broken and therefore the vent cover and the assembly inside the door were not being held tight against the door. The water was leaking in that area. Read more

Changed the water inlet valve for the water problem. To fix the problem of washer running while door was open, took off the front panel and changed the plunger sw interlock and spring which fixed the problem of washer running while door was opened mid wash cycle.
