This is a grommet and it is intended for use on refrigerators and freezers. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. A new grommet might be needed if the current one is visibly worn out or damaged in any way. If there are noises from vibration coming from the lower back area of the fridge there might be need for a new grommet. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually. It is compatible with refrigerators and freezers, or units with a compressor and is made by General Electric.
Installed new stainless steel pan replacing broken original plastic pan and installed new rubber grommets for the compressor Read more
This fan and pre-wired harness assembly drives airflow to the Quick Chill/CustomCool drawer so foods and beverages chill faster and hold the set temperature. Replace a noisy, non-running, or intermittent fan to restore proper drawer cooling.
I replaced the fan and heater element. The replacement was not an exact match. I had to adjust the parts to get the harness to fit the plug was not the correct size. I cut it off and used the existing plug. Not a big deal and everything else fit. Pretty good for a twenty year old replacement. Also the heater element was a different shape but it fit as is. This is the display/control circuit board for the refrigerator's user interface. It drives the temperature/readout display and processes button inputs so you can adjust settings and dispenser functions from the front panel.
Front mounting grommet.
Replaced the housing the water filter screws into. Water works fine now. Read more
This PTC start relay and overload protector assembly mounts on the compressor. It manages compressor start-up and cuts power if overheating occurs. Replacing a failed start device may restore normal cooling and stop repeated clicking from the compressor area.
We replaced the main circuit board and the LED started to work and the condenser fan worked, but all we had were relay clicking sounds, but no cooling. The compressor had become so hot trying to work when the main circuit board was amiss, that it had popped the over temperature sensor on its side. As some one point out, if you remove the PTC+OLP assembly with the capacitor on it, and shake it, you will hear a rattle inside---and that is bad. We ordered a second round of parts from... Read more

The damper duct assembly regulates the cold air sent from the freezer into the refrigerator compartment. Replacing a worn or sticking damper restores proper airflow and helps the fresh food section maintain stable, even temperatures.
This evaporator fan bracket secures the evaporator fan assembly behind the rear panel. A rigid, correct-fit mount preserves blade clearance and airflow across the evaporator coils for steady temperatures while minimizing vibration and noise.
The problem was most likely the evaporator fan motor but it could have been a bad blade, loose parts or bad motor mounts. Hard to tell without taking everything apart and inspecting. Since fridge was 17 years old I decided to order the entire evaporator fan assembly as shown in the parts diagram including fan blade, motor brackets, motor, motor mounts, screws, etc. Getting to the assembly involved removing the ice maker unit plus the entire rear inside of the freezer section. Parts cost around... Read more

This manufacturer-specified screw fastens appliance panels, brackets, and internal components in place. Replace a missing or stripped fastener to restore a tight, rattle-free fit and reliable support at the original mounting points.
Quickly on the face grille. Dismantled ice tray and inserted auger. Everything is pretty obvious for dismantling except the spring in the rod on the bottom (pay attention to how it is attached to the rod) and the plastic screw on the front of the auger (use pliers to grip it and it is reverse thread).
