I replaced the back cover because it was broken because the ice split the Styrofoam ducting, spent about five hour thawing out the drain. I used boiling water and used compressed air to blow out the liquid. GE really dropped the ball on this model!! I added a copper wire from the defrost heater down the drain. To keep the drain open. I discovered this GE Refrigerator is made by Samsung, and while I had a harder time finding a video for the GE, this is almost identical.
