This is a dispenser cover for refrigerators. It is stainless steel in color. The purpose of this part is to control the dispenser functions. It has buttons for turning on the energy saver mode, adjusting the freezer, an alarm, controlling the ice and water dispenser, and locking the dispenser. It also has a digital display.Over time and with use, the text on the dispenser cover may wear off. If this is the case, this part will replace it so that the user can see the text again. This part can also be replaced for cosmetic reasons such as if the stainless steel finish is scratched or damaged. I discovered this GE Refrigerator is made by Samsung, and while I had a harder time finding a video for the GE, this is almost identical.
