When I identified a leak coming from the Heating Coil, I saw that the Heating Element Nut on both sides were corroded and could not hold the heating element tight any more. I ordered replacement parts and the fix was very easy. As I was running the test afterwards, I discovered that there was a leak coming from under the door. I bought a replacement turbidity sensor and swapped it out. Very simple and straightforward. However there is one trick to be know. Replace this liner if you notice water leaking from the door, damaged dispenser compartments, or cracks in the door's interior surface.
I lived with the problem for half a year as I jerry-rigged the dishwasher door by pulling it out until it started. I did this by sticking a cleaning brush in it or looping an exercise bungee cord through the handle and attaching it to a 30lbs weight across the room until the CL light went off. Some days it would run with no problem but eventually it "died" and my ingenuity failed to work anymore. I contacted an AppliancePartsPros representative and he recommended I try the latch assemble to fix... Read more
