I looked for a site that sold replacement parts for my make of GE refrigerator. I found AppliancePartsPros, and was very surprised at how organized it was. By entering the model number of my refrigerator, I was shown a set of (approximately) 8 general parts diagrams for my refrigerator. I chose the ice making/dispensing diagram. The left siderail broke - no doubt from pushing the ice bucket in too vigorously, too many times! In any case, removing the screws holding the rail to freezer wall was not too hard - having a 1/4" socket, with extension, made it easier. Turning the screws with only a screw driver handle, with 1/4" and 5/16" sockets would be tough. Dispenser works fine now. Read more
