When we inspected the first time we found that Plactic had broken from the spiral part that for wards the ice. Also there were cracks in two places of other parts. There was a hole in the bottom of the bin. The new spiral was assembled and two new parts were replaced with help from the video and the diagram and the unit worked well. This is the user interface assembly that houses the control buttons and display on your refrigerator. It allows you to adjust temperature settings, control ice and water dispensers, and access other refrigerator functions. Replace it when buttons stop responding, the display is blank or garbled, or temperature controls don't work properly.
Installed new touch pad. Installation took less than five minutes. However, to tweak the temps in the fridge took three days. Back on track with normal refrigerator temps. Read more
