This internal pump-to-drain hose routes water from the drain pump to the outlet, helping prevent leaks and ensuring proper draining. Replace a cracked or clogged hose to restore reliable, mess-free operation.

This motor retainer secures the motor to its mounting point, keeping the assembly tight and aligned. Replace a worn or broken retainer to cut vibration and noise and to protect nearby seals, wiring, and components. What it does:
A former repair man deleted the grommets from the motor mount plate, the spring fastening the motor to the bracket broke the screw inside the motor and once the motor fell out of place the drive to the the transmission was broken. Read more

Push-in.
I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. This screw and washer is an OEM replacement part used for Whirlpool washers. It is used to secure the lid switch. Each screw is sold individually. The screw measures approximately 1 inch.

This agitator drive shaft sits inside the washer's gearcase and transfers motion to the agitator. Replacing a worn or stripped shaft restores firm engagement and reliable wash action while helping reduce slip and grinding during agitation.
I had to replace the drive shaft and the lower agitator. The motor coupling was also worn out. The repair was challenging because I had to rebuild the gear box. Used for lid switch.
Researched this kenmore washer on-line and found the problem to be the lid switch. Saw a diagram on how to jump this switch by connecting a wire to both outside wires on the harness and voila! It worked! This is not a fix but it allowed me to finish the load of unwashed clothes and told me which part was bad (do not run washer jumped like this.......fire hazard!) This lid hinge pad fits between the washer lid hinge and the cabinet. It cushions the joint to reduce squeaks and metal wear, helping keep the lid aligned and operating smoothly.

This kit contains two knobs and dial replacing many models. Color: black. The knobs are about 2 inches in diameter. The dial is about 3 inches in diameter.
Removed control knob that was broken also. Removed two screws and tilted top panel back. Removed two screws holding timer in place. Disconnected wiring harness from bad timer. Reconnected wiring harness to new timer. Used two new screws provided to place timer in position. Let top panel down and replaced two screws holding it down. Installed new control knob. Read more

This is a lower part of the agitator. For a complete agitator assembly which includes lower part, agitator mover and agitator dogs, order 285574.
Beyond the excellent repair videos, a couple of tips: 1) with the agitator stripped, there is no way to hold the transmission from turning while trying to break loose the agitator screw - defeat the lid switch, set the machine to agitate and work the socket wrench against the motor. 2) the videos call for the use of penetrating oil when trying to free the spanner nut. Size: 8 foot long. This external washer drain hose is needed when there is more distance between the washer and the drain. Note: comes with 1.5" diameter clamp but hose is 1.25" in diameter; therefore you may need to order the 1.25" diameter clamp separately: WP356138
