We had to replace the panel. A few issues. We had to remove the handle from the broken panel to the new panel. This was a bit tricky but our next door neighbor had gone through this same issue so he and my husband were able to work it through without damaging anything. The only other part was lining up the screws and securityring the clips. Looks great and works great. Read more
After inspecting the unit I noticed the inner oven box had four sections. The center section of the ceiling of the top oven had separated from the right side wall and had fallen to contact the top heating element. The gap created affected the Oven Temp. Sensor which caused the ven to shut off and the code to display. I repaired the ceiling and cleared the code. Problem solved. I have a 10 year old Kitchenaid double oven with warming drawer below and electrical connection is located in cabinet below. I order a service manual from http://www.allrepairmanuals.com. Oven temperature saftey switch.
Includes the two terminal solenoid, plunger and spring.
This mirco switch has normally closed contacts. This means when you press the button the contacts will be open.
