Cosmetic trim piece for oven door exterior. Replaces cracked, chipped, or missing trim. Restores finished appearance to door edge or panel frame.
This latch sister board controls the oven's motorized door lock used for self-clean and safety interlock functions. Replacing a failed board restores reliable lock/unlock operation so your oven can start cycles and complete cleaning as designed.
Install notes:
I didn't pull the double oven out of the wall making it a little tighter to work on. Installation takes 5 minutes Disassembly takes a little longer. So it took me about 30 minutes start to finish. Suggestion.... always use your phone to take photos as you disassemble electric parts. Remembering wiring assemblies can be daunting. The parts were OEM. No adaption required. We had to replace the panel. A few issues. We had to remove the handle from the broken panel to the new panel. This was a bit tricky but our next door neighbor had gone through this same issue so he and my husband were able to work it through without damaging anything. The only other part was lining up the screws and securityring the clips. Looks great and works great. Read more
