After some back and forth with the wife about whether or not to replace a 30 year old cook top stove with two non functioning burners, the cost to replace with a brand new stove would've been too much not to mention all new cooktops require 40A or 50A source breakers which ours is only 30A. This is kind of hard to mitigate when our cooktop is on an island on the opposite side of the house with a story above us and a solid concrete foundation.
