First off I unplugged the refrigerator. I removed the meat tray, and the three screws on either side. The screws hold the meat tray drawer guides. I then removed the vegetable drawer, the fruit drawer, and the shelf above the two drawers, these did not have screws. Removed the one screw that held the damper motor housing. When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also. Changed the evaporator fan cover. I was told it comes with the fan motor and it did not so I had to order a fan motor. Then I found the fan wire harness was corroded and broken. I also installed an aluminum tab on the heater element that extends down the drain hole. I also had to clean the back of the fridge and unclog the two drain tubes on the back of the fridge next to the compressor and now it works fine.
