Robert B Massillon , OH June 09, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF266ABPN/XAA I replaced the damper motor in my samsung refrigerator First off I unplugged the refrigerator. I removed the meat tray, and the three screws on either side. The screws hold the meat tray drawer guides. I then removed the vegetable drawer, the fruit drawer, and the shelf above the two drawers, these did not have screws. Removed the one screw that held the damper motor housing. I then unplugged the motor from the refrigerator along with a sensor. I put the motor housing on my bench and removed the Styrofoam housing that holds the damper motor. I then put the new damper motor in the Styrofoam housing and reversed the process to install. very simple.
