Changed the evaporator fan cover. I was told it comes with the fan motor and it did not so I had to order a fan motor. Then I found the fan wire harness was corroded and broken. I also installed an aluminum tab on the heater element that extends down the drain hole. I also had to clean the back of the fridge and unclog the two drain tubes on the back of the fridge next to the compressor and now it works fine. PS- use a small open end wrench to push the fan blade off the old fan. Read more

This is a small white bushing that fits around the solenoid in the ice dispenser auger motor assembly. It reduces friction and vibration, allowing the solenoid to operate smoothly when dispensing ice. Replace this bushing if you hear unusual rattling or buzzing from the dispenser area, or if the ice dispenser is not engaging properly.

Confirmed part number through Appliance Pros diagrams. Ordered a rail slide from their website. Went through FAQs about the part. Watched several tutorials on how to remove different parts on may different models. Opened the drawer, studied the makeup of how best to remove everything. Removed drawer, slide rail, then realized didn't have all the hardware to reinstall. Couple trips to hardware store later, drawer was put back to together and working like new.
