I researched noises and found out it was probably the defrost thermostat. Also the track for the right side vegetable drawer had been broken when we bought the refrigerator so we ordered both parts. Plastic hinge assembly that secures refrigerator shelves to the interior wall. Replace if cracked, brittle, or broken to restore proper shelf support.
Ordered replacement clips. The replacements don't come with screws or the caps to cover the screws, so save all the hardware aside from the plastic hinges. You need to order the upper and lower halves of the hinges. The repair was very quick and easy, took about 5 minutes to attach the hinges to the shelf, and screw the shelf back into the side of the ice maker. Very happy to have the shelf back. Read more
Replacement rail assembly for refrigerator vegetable crisper drawers. Installs on the side wall to support the shelf above the crisper bins. Needed when cracked or broken.
Removed the vegetable drawers, removed the shelf above them. Removed two screws (philips #2) holding the left drawer rail in place. Levers the front of the rail away from the side of the refrigerator and pulled, sliding the tab at the rear of the rail out from the fridge wall. Placing the new rail had some challenges due to extra plastic at the far end of the rail.
