Gill W Acton , MA September 25, 2018 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG-25.8 CU. FT. FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR-WHIT Veg crisper drawers difficult to open left side rail supporting the bottom shelf was broken Removed the vegetable drawers, removed the shelf above them. Removed two screws (philips #2) holding the left drawer rail in place. Levers the front of the rail away from the side of the refrigerator and pulled, sliding the tab at the rear of the rail out from the fridge wall. Placing the new rail had some challenges due to extra plastic at the far end of the rail. I needed to carefully cut/trim (with large diagonal cutters) the plastic tab to match the old rail otherwise the extra plastic prevents the new rail from sliding all the way back in the refrigerator. Be careful not to over-tighten and strip the #2 screws when replacing them. Save extra time to do a thorough cleaning of all the refrigerator parts while you have everything apart.
