Repair required removing all of the interior drawers & shelves and the interior back panel. There you will find the defrost heater. Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. Levers the front of the rail away from the side of the refrigerator and pulled, sliding the tab at the rear of the rail out from the fridge wall.
