I thought that I needed to repair the water supply. But it all looked OK. I had turned the power off for a few minutes hoping to clear any false info from the numerous power outages. Ordered parts to reattach the handle online. I ordered an array of parts totaling $60, including 2 nylon pins that may have been right and left. Only one worked so hopefully that was the reason - not clear on the parts list. End caps are plastic and broken tabs trying to put them on so they are glued in place.
