Overall the fix wasn't too hard. The challenge was putting the oven door back together and holding it together while trying to tighten the screws. Enlisted my wife's help to hold the door and at first the handle screws wouldn't tighten. My cordless screwdriver's battery was under-charged. Whenever the drawer was opened, it would fall of the guide rails. This lead to the drawer being crooked several times. I took the drawer out and noticed one of the glides was missing. Ordered a new pair, popped it on and now the drawer slides properly. Read more

This hinge is for painted door only. For stainless steel door use WP8272822.
This oven was a Kenmore model #66595822003. I replaced both spring hinges. This oven was a white oven so it took the MFG# WP8053807 hinge (order two of them). They are the same hinge. No left or right. To get the door off the oven, open the door all the way open, I installed pins (preferably only 1/4" long) in the holes of both hinges. I installed OME; -Surface Unit Switch, [this handle the non-control issue of the Burner staying on high ] -Surface Burner Receptacle [the Burner staying on high may have damage the Receptacle ] -Control Knob [the knob had been badly damage over the years, so a new one was in order] All of this took less than 45 minutes and there are great DIY video on APP site for help.
