The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. Replaced the main controller ("computer") board. This is a very easy fix; took only about 10 minutes. However, I'm hoping that the old board was the cause of the problem. It could be something to do with the door locking solenoid & microswitch unit. The difficulty was in analzying the problem, coming up with a temporary work-around (disconnect the microswitch), manually unlocking the door, disconnecting the oven light (which simultaneously was always on), and waiting the two weeks for the...
