I ordered the French door housing, the new piece has a solid raised curved part that enters the guide, and a new center hinge. I watched both repair videos shown on appliance parts Pro. Repair required removing all of the interior drawers & shelves and the interior back panel. There you will find the defrost heater. Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement. I ordered Samsung part #’s AP5577767, plate drain & AP5587916, evaporator plate and replaced both. Read more
