I unplugged the unit. Let the evap thaw. Measured with an ohm meter the temp sensor, defrost sensor and evap heaters. Defrost sensor measured completely " closed". Diagnosed problem by testing for open heater element and while frozen, the defrost terminator, both tested open. (Infinity on meter). Ordered parts from Appliance Parts Pros.
