Not easy to figure out. Removed screws that appeared to hold the motor/fan/bracket in but it didn't budge (??). Watched a You Tube video but the guy's camera work wasn't too clear. I at least gathered that there was a plastic, one-way button/slide lock on the underside of bracket that holds the motor/fan assemby in.. Didn't make sense that once the button was pushed up with a screwdriver, the bracket would slide out (towards you) because there are rigid cooling lines that are in the way. ... Read more
This evaporator assembly removes heat from the refrigerator compartment to maintain proper cooling temperatures. It contains coils and fins that absorb heat from circulating air. Replace this evaporator if you experience poor cooling, excessive frost buildup, or refrigerant leaks.
The ice maker quit working and the ice on/off led didn't work. Got the model number of the fridge and went to online chat and they looked up the part for me and told me how to install it. It was a breeze. New display panel fixed the problem and life is good. Read more
Order and received hinges and the parts for the doors that were lost. After plugging it in the open door chimes started and would not stop. I call appliance Parts customer service and tech Dept. They were very patient and helpful with my ordering the parts I needed and tried to get the chimes to stop. The People I talked to were very helpful and patient in trying to fix this problem. This refrigerator solenoid saddle provides secure mounting for the water inlet solenoid valve. It holds the solenoid in proper position to control water flow for ice makers or water dispensers. Replace this part if your water dispenser leaks, doesn't dispense water, or if the solenoid appears loose or misaligned.
