The ice bucket tray is the removable container inside your freezer that collects and stores ice cubes produced by the ice maker until you're ready to use them. It holds a supply of ice and typically connects to the dispenser system so ice can be delivered on demand. Replace this tray if it is cracked, broken, or warped in a way that causes ice to jam, spill, or fail to dispense correctly.

Following advice on YouTube I removed the ice maker and found the ice tray had broke. The You Tube video said they got the parts from AppliaceParts Pros. The site was easy to use and quickly sent me the needed part - an ice tray for about $12. Much cheaper than a service call. I put in the part yesterday.
