I was buying a part for my other refrigerator and decided to replace the ice tray on my LG, as it was not emptying properly. After receiving the part, I found I had to dismantle the left side of the handle in order to fix the right side that was broken. When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also.
