Common causes
Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy. I suspected the start-relay and tested it due to the lint plugged condenser coils. The start-relay rattled when shook, a telling sign it is no good due to over heating. I tested the compressor terminals and compared them the results with the Tech Data Sheet found with the unit, to find my compressor was still good.
