Replaced the tension pulley assembly, drum rollers, drum roller axles, belt, and drum glides while I had the dryer disassembled. It turned out that the cause of the squeak was the tension pulley assembly, however it was easy and economical enough to replace anything that could have been the cause of the squeaking while I had the dryer apart. This small pin secures the timer knob to the control shaft and prevents it from slipping during operation. Located behind the timer knob on the control panel, replacement is necessary when the knob spins freely without changing settings or falls off the washer.
