We called a technician to see if our double oven could be fixed and they said no. We'd have to purchase a new unit. After doing some research, I found a post/blog that mentioned the same problem. This turned out to be a very complicated repair ONLY because the wires that attached to the very far end of the broil element came detached inside and behind the wall of the oven. It is one step this side of impossible to fish the wires out and reconnect them to the new element. This would be a very easy job PROVIDED that you do not allow the two wires that connect to the element to become detached inside the rear oven wall. Read more
