Wax motor for detergent/rinse-aid dispenser.
Took door off, saw that dispenser linkage was ok, I could open and close by hand, so figured the wax motor or the wiring to it were most likely the problem. I took off the wax motor ( actuator) and ran 120 volts to it via jumper wires, and it did not move at all, so figured good chance that was the problem. One of the side trim strips was folded over on itself, which made latching the door difficult. It was an easy fix: used a Torx screwdriver to remove 2 screws on each side, and just replaced it on each side.
