The Impeller Jug is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. Located inside the wash chamber, the impeller jug is responsible for evenly distributing water throughout the dish rack during the wash cycle. It features strategically placed holes and channels that work with the spray arms to direct water flow and ensure all dishes receive thorough coverage.
Symptoms of a bad impeller jug include:
Causes of failure can be mineral or scale buildup inhibiting water flow, cracked or damaged casing allowing leaks, or worn impeller fins no longer efficiently dispersing water. Over time, hard water deposits and normal use can degrade performance.
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore dishwashers.
1) Cleaned all sprayer arms. This is the main electronic control board that manages all dishwasher functions, including wash cycle selection, water fill, drain timing, and heating. It receives input from the touchpad and sensors and directs power to the various components throughout each cycle. Replace this board if the dishwasher fails to start, stops mid-cycle, displays error codes, or if individual functions such as draining or filling no longer operate correctly.
Replaced control board (P/N AP4300389) mounted on lower right side of unit. I watched some of the U-Tube videos that showed how to disassemble the Bosch dishwashers and that helped with the general removal and installation. Replacing the board was the easy part. Getting the dishwasher disconnected and removed and then reinstalled took the most time. Read more
