Have a good old Caloric stove/oven but the horizontal design left the knobs open to grease and water dripping downward into the control knobs. This fouled up the sparking of the oven and one burner on stove. also the front 2 deteriorated burners were allowing some flames to pass under the stovetop. SSVD48600Pon finally popped the control panel loose from the top of the stove. Took some manipulation as the stove is more than 20 yrs. old With a screwdriver finally popped the switch loose. Applied the new switch. Popped the top back to the control panel. Put the screws back in and everything was back to normal. Read more
