The 2 year old Samsung overhead unit completely failed. It showed no power - no clock, lights, or anything. My wife wanted to go back to the store to complain and buy a complete new unit. This unit had a 1 year warranty. I thought we could perhaps figure out which component was the cause of the failure and replace it for much less money. We took down the unit and removed its cover.
