I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more

Tried replacing heating element. This did not solve problem. Called Appliance Parts Pros back for help. Concluded after discussion with technical support that the oven relay board was defective. Ordered board and installed the new board and the oven is now working fine. Installation requires access to back of oven and careful dis-assembly since there are about 15 wire connections. Not very difficult if you are handy. Read more
