This replacement screw fastens trim, panels and small components to restore secure attachment and reduce rattling or movement. Use when a screw is missing, stripped, or damaged to keep parts aligned and operating quietly. What it does:
I pulled out the old housing and unplugged the motor. It pretty much came out in pieces. Remove the plastic from the motor, then had to take a pair of vice grips to hold the spindle in place to remove the auger. Remove what was still attached to the old Housing. Cleaned everything up and put the whole unit back together. The motor looked like it was somewhat cooked but still worked, so I ordered a new motor and auger to replace it. Because this fridge is 24 yrs old, Appliancepartspros... Read more

A hi-limit safety switch that stops heating when temperatures get too high, protecting the appliance from overheating and helping prevent damage. Designed to replace a failed thermal cutoff to restore safe temperature control. What it does:
Started with checking temp control in the oven. Worked fine. Next was testing high limiter switch. Every place stated switch was on the back panel, found mine place under the right burner cartridge. Took some finagling to expose it. Bought a new one, two wires to disconnect along with two small screws to secure switch, slapped it in and I was in business. Oven that was out of commission for over two weeks (never buy a part from Sears, always deal with APP's!) was on the road again! Read more

This clip secures appliance panels or small components to maintain alignment and reduce vibration, restoring the original fit where a worn or broken fastener allows movement or rattling. Simple, direct-fit replacement when the original clip fails. What it does:
This speed nut is a stamped metal retaining clip designed to hold screws or fasteners securely to appliance panels and trim. It provides a simple, vibration-resistant connection that keeps covers and components in place. What it does:
This wire harness, also called a contact wire assembly, restores reliable factory connections between the appliance's controls and components. Replacing a damaged harness helps resolve intermittent or failed operation caused by burnt, brittle, or loose wiring and terminals.
Replaced wire harness that is terminated in a contact-shoe in one of the two terminal blocks in the cooktop. Also replaced cracked burner-indicator lights as cooktop was disassembled to affect the terminal-block repair. All replacement parts fit properly and worked well. The greatest amount of time was disassembling and re-assembling the cooktop. Replacing the wire harness took less than 5 minutes once the range top was disassembled to allow access to the terminal block. Read more

This screw is a factory-style mounting fastener used to secure appliance panels and components. It replaces worn, stripped, or missing screws to restore proper fit and reduce rattling. What it does:
This band motor is the motor assembly that powers the appliance's moving band or drive link, restoring the mechanism that enables normal rotating or indexing motion. Use it to replace a worn or failed motor for smoother operation. What it does:
I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
