Herb M Karthaus , PA October 13, 2014 Appliance: Jenn-Air Self Cleaning Slide-In Downdraft Electric Range SVE47500B Jenn air downdraft slide in stove/oven oven quit heating consistently would work on occasion ! No local repair persons would tackle the jo. I checked all electrical contacts, voltages, etc, no problems. Contacted Appliancepartspros and discussed problem. they recommended new control board, power relay board,downdraft fan board, and high limit switch AFTER I had installed an oven temp sensor. Process of elimination with new parts FINALLY isolated the problem. Nicholas W Twin Peaks , CA October 21, 2018 Appliance: Model JENN AIR SVMD46800 No heat from either broil or bake Started with checking temp control in the oven. Worked fine. Next was testing high limiter switch. Every place stated switch was on the back panel, found mine place under the right burner cartridge. Took some finagling to expose it. Bought a new one, two wires to disconnect along with two small screws to secure switch, slapped it in and I was in business. Oven that was out of commission for over two weeks (never buy a part from Sears, always deal with APP's!) was on the road again!
