The Evaporator Fan Motor Kit is an OEM part compatible with GE refrigerators. It is a critical component responsible for circulating air and maintaining proper airflow within the refrigerator's evaporator system, ensuring efficient cooling and temperature regulation. I called AppliancePartsPros.com and they helped me diagnose the problem for this very nice, and well designed refrigerator, that I wanted to keep rather than recycle at the local scrap yard. New parts went in well, Took a while to install the ring for the new fan blade using my long nose pliers. I would have saved time if I had the special ring spreader... Read more
I ordered 2 new gaskets, one for the freezer and another for the refrigerator. These arrived within a few days. I soaked both in the bathtub filled with hot water for about 20 minutes. My grandson installed both gaskets without any trouble. I duck taped on the freezer door to allow it to 'seep' with the cold air inside the freezer unit as I was told this would help make a better seal. I waited 48 hours before removing the tape and opening the door. So far, I'm very happy with my 'new'... Read more
