This boot auger motor drives the auger inside the ice dispenser boot to move ice from the bin to the dispenser chute. Replaces a failed motor to restore normal ice dispensing and reduce jams. What it does:
The auger motor failed and wouldn't turn. I replaced the motor and it works without a problem. Make sure you dont throw away the motor boot or buy one if you don't have one. Otherwise, the temperature will freeze up the motor and lead to premature failure. Read more
